Life? No thanks.

Part 0ne

When i was in year ten or something, apparently scientists discovered a new planet which could contain life. Every few months a a small memory of that resurfaces in my mind and i think to myself “Hmm oh yeah, what ever happened to that planet?” and ” Uhh did that new planet thing actually happen or was that a dream?”

Part Two

One month ago i bought my brother the In Time dvd for his birthday. Whilst he watched it, i also watched it too glimpsing a tralier for what seemed like an amazing film before the actual feature film. This movie was about scientists discovering a new planet which is a copy of Earth except the “other you” on the “other Earth” was somewhat completely different. In the end, well i didn’t get to see the end because my brother complained that it seemed like a stupid film and skipped it. I sat there unknown of the name of that grand looking movie. I spoke of it often.

Part Three

Today i lurked, i lurked long and hard  and as i wrote ‘movie about another earth’ into Google my eyes lit up when i glimpsed the results. Links about Gliese 581 (a red dwarf star) beamed up at me. IT WAS THAT PLANET! FINALLY! And just when it couldn’t get any better i found the wondrous name of that film i yearned so much. It’s titled Another Earth. Ughh obviously, that’s it’s name. Obviously.

The End

Me.

April 23

On today’s episode of AAMI life, Nina found herself in a rare state of enjoyment as she answered countless calls from the ‘thrilling’ AAMI customers. One darling woman called up to make a manual payment as her monthly installment did not go through. The woman, Helen (maybe it was Helen or we could just call her that for now) trailed off into all sort of tales from her past. Nina was bombarded with facts about Helen winning several pageants in her youth and how her two daughters of Ukrainian decent were so very tall and beautiful and how their breasts were a good size for their age because Helen did not want older men looking at her teenage beauties. Helen also highlighted that she previously worked at GIO and that she had a second of fame back when she was on the news, answering phones for the insurance company when the streets of Sydney city were flooded in the 80’s. The forty-four minute conversation between Helen and Nina also entailed just how annoying Delta Goodrem was. Helen made Nina’s morning, such a cute soul she was.
